Dr. Guillermo Aranda-Mena is Associate Professor at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia and since 2012, Visiting Professor at Politecnico di Milano, UNESCO Chair of Architecture in Mantua.

Guillermo’s areas of research and practice include: Design for Life-cycle, Building Modelling and applications for Heritage Management, Decision-Making, and Behavioural Studies

 

This lecture will consist of three parts:

  • Place: Towards Melbourne 2.0 Integrating Waterfronts, Transport Oriented Development and Post-industrial Urban Renewal;
  • People: Innovation Districts and Social Innovation in Urban Renewal
  • Process: Decision-Making within Complex Systems, the case of the Stakeholder Circle and Public-Private Partnerships in Urban Renewal
